Privacy Policy
Stonecliffe Developments Inc. · Last updated August 25, 2026
Stonecliffe Developments Inc. ("Stonecliffe", "we") operates this portal to manage our real-estate
development projects and to give clients, investors, lenders, consultants and trade partners a secure
view of the projects they are involved in. This policy explains what personal information we collect
through the portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in
accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia) and, where it
applies, Canada's PIPEDA.
What we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, role (client, investor, lender,
trade, consultant, staff) and sign-in records, including optional two-factor settings.
- Project and business information — budgets, invoices, schedules, permits,
documents, photos and messages that you or Stonecliffe add to the projects you participate in.
Some of this (for example an invoice or a contract) may contain personal information.
- Technical information — standard server logs (IP address, browser type,
pages requested) and the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising
or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To operate the portal: authenticate you, show you only the projects you have been granted,
and deliver the documents, figures and updates those projects generate.
- To communicate with you about your projects — for example a message thread reply, a document
shared with you, or an account notice such as a password reset.
- To keep the portal secure and reliable: audit logs, activity history and abuse prevention.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party
advertising.
Who can see your information
Access is role-based. Partners see only the projects they have been granted, and only the sections
shared with their role. Stonecliffe staff can see the information needed to manage the projects.
We share information outside the portal only with service providers that host and support it
(see below), with professional advisors (for example our accountants) where needed, or where the
law requires it.
Where it is stored
The portal runs on Microsoft Azure in Canada (Canada Central region), including its database and
document storage. Email notices are sent through Microsoft 365. These providers act as our service
providers and store data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Project records are retained for as long as needed for the project and for the legal, tax and
warranty periods that follow it. Account information is kept while your account is active; we
deactivate or delete accounts on request where no legal retention applies.
Your choices and rights
- You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you.
- You may ask us to deactivate your account at any time.
- Questions and requests: info@stonecliffedevelopments.ca.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and
Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be
flagged to signed-in users.
